My New Phone...

WOW! I just figured out how to do this on my phone! It's a long process just to get to this spot though. Not too much has changed we still live here in Chatt~town but will soon be moving down near my mom. Dad passed right after Christmas and she doesn't need to be alone. We won't live with her. She is way too young and independent for that! Just be close enough to visit or get together for lunch or whatever. I've been offered a house rent free for a while but I need a good job. Please help me pray for one.

Yes I'm still alive and well and missing everyone!
We moved across town over the summer and I tried to get internet, only to find that my computer was fried! My pastor has loaned me one, but still I have no 'net. I'm saving for a new vehicle since my transmission gave out last month. Again I'm borrowing a truck from my pastor. Thank you, pastor Black!!! We all know when it rains, it pours....Soon the blessings of God will be showering over me!!
Both of my kids were on the honor roll. I never would have thought my Rotten, Jaren would be such a model student! I hear all kinds of wonderful things about him every time I enter the school or even meet someone from school somewhere! (I think they have him mixed up with some other kid!)

Bro Leach will be here again this weekend, and for the next 3-4 weeks! What God did last time Bro Leach was here, and has done since, is nothing compared to what HE is going to do in Chattahoochee in the next little while!!! I can hardly wait to tell you about our Holy Ghost Blowout that is coming up!!!!

I still miss my internet!!!
Just wanted to drop a quick note about the weekend services we had with Bro Chris Leach. On Fri night to start things off 4(yes, four!!) of my SS kids received the HG in just seconds! They are 6-10 years old. The six year old couldn't stop speaking in tongues even when we left a couple hours later! One of the teens who outgrew my class and a few adults also got it!! Sat and Sun were just as awesome. We had about 16 total receive the HG for the first time and several more refilled! We only have about 40 on our roll, so this number was really cool!
Our Mon night prayer meeting(Hour of Power)went well into over-time! God is doing a great work here!
Please be in prayer. We have a large state mental institute and several prisons/correctional institutions here in and around Chattahoochee. There is a lot of spiritual warfare going on, but we are on the winning side!!!

This past month has been fuul and I just can't beleive that it is already November! BRianna brought home an almost perfect report card last week! Her reading teacher must have thought I had lost my mind coming in asking why my child only got a B in writing! It was only a couple points from an A, and I just wanted to know so maybe Brianna won't be dissapointed next time. I had to reassure her teacher that we weren't complaining; we just aren't used to that letter on her report card! From now on I am quite sure she will detail her teacher to death since that's what lowered the grade!
Jaren made a giant leap into boyhood a few weeks ago! In a few years he will kill me for telling this~even more for putting it into print! At 4 1/2 He FINALLY stands up to go potty! He even made up a song to remind himself! I guess not having a daddy or big brother around slows some boys up on certain things!
Jaren is also begging to be baptized, but dosen't want the Holy Ghost. Brianna wants the Holy Ghost, but is afraid of getting baptized.
I average abound 10-12 kids in my SS class (still on Wed~need to rename it. Any ideas?)I am teaching Search For Truth and they are really paying attention and learnig! We only cover about 1/2 a lesson each week, and end with everyone praying. some of them are earnestly seeking the HG!
I'm at the library, and it's time to pick up my Beautiful from school and go back to work! I STILL MISS MY INTERNET!!!

Still not on-line. I miss everyone! Call me!! Everytime I think I can get re-connected, some other major expense comes up. Priorities... Right now my power-steering is out, so I'm building some muscle! Hmph!...who needs a gym??
Brianna is back and doing great in school! My house is no longer quiet, though!
Jaren is doing much better than I thought in Pre-K. He is just upstairs from me instead of next door.
Lejune is in Germany visiting Branan, his wife, Chelsea, and their brand-new baby, Skyla. She's been gone a week and has two more to go. I still haven't heard from her and really don't expect to until she's home again.

My library computer time is almost up, so I better scoot. I'm only allowed an hour. Not near enough time to check all my mail or everyone's blogs......

When it was time to name my kids I had to pick just the right names. I needed to find out what the names meant, because it might be a great looking/sounding name that means fat, lazy, slob. Brianna Lanae is strong, beautiful, and bold. Very fitting for her! Jaren Isaac means to sing/cry out to God and laughter. He has always loved music and worship and I have never before seen a child that had to watch a preaching video while potty-training! Yes, I actually had to put on a preaching video and put his "seat" in front of the tv so he would sit still and "go"! (Now if only he would sit still at church!) But laughter is the subject dear to me today! I knew I wanted Isaac to be in my son's name (if ever I had one) since high school when I found out what it meant. I am so thrilled to tell you my son has never let me down on his ability to laugh at the most unlaughable of things! Definitely my child! :} During this past week of not having my Beautiful around and so many things happening, he has laughed and kept me laughing so much! I love watching his eyes turn into little slits that he probably can't even see through. He can't stand up or catch his breath when he gets to cackling! Yes, the poor kid laughs just like me! I have really been enjoying my time with just the two of us! We have never had this kind of "us" time. I had the first 4 1/2 years of Brianna to myself and am tyring to squeeze as much as possible out of these 3 1/2 weeks with just my Isaac. He sure is Rotten, though!

I still have no internet. I'm at my sister's house while they are at church. (I don't know why the speakers aren't working, but I'm not messing with Mike's stuff, so I can't listen in with Life Tabernacle.) But, in not being on the web, I have benefited in this compu-fast by reading much more and even spending more time letting God deal with me about things. I have realized some not so wonderful things about myself in prayer. All of the preaching tapes/cds I've listened to this week, and even the books I've read, have fit right together with the things I'm dealing with in prayer and was followed up totally by my pastor's message today! I am so thankful that I have a God that loves me enough to show me the error of my ways(although I'd rather only see other's faults...let's face it!)and helps me to change to be the person He wants me to be! I am excited about what God is doing in my life and so willing to follow Him through whatever doors He opens!
